Blue Lock chapter 160 is just a couple of days away so let’s get into what we’ll be seeing in the upcoming chapter, titled, ‘Ginga X Monster.’ Of course, if you can’t already tell from the title or last week’s chapter, the ball handler Bachira will finally be getting the spotlight this chapter. So without further ado let’s jump right into it!

Chapter 159 Recap
Before we jump into chapter 160’s spoilers, let’s do a quick recap of what went down in the most recent release of Blue Lock, chapter 159, titled, ‘Way Of Dominance.’
159 starts us off with Isagi on the bench watching on as the Germany vs Spain is about to begin. We watch from Isagi’s point of view as the German team shows off their amazing skills and top tier teamwork. We also FINALLY get to see Kunigami in action when he gets the ball. Instead of making the easy pass that would lead to a goal we see a new side of Kunigami. Keeping the ball to himself Kunigami rushes forward past the defence and shoots a powerful shot on goal.
His shot does end up getting deflected by the goal keeper but this play alone shows Isagi that this person is a whole new Kunigami, proof of his evolution. The Spanish team grabs the ball and the play continues after one of the German team members chides Kunigami that he should have passed to their star Kaiser. Kunigami rudely brushes this player off and the game continues. The chapter comes to a close as the ball falls into Bachira’s feet.
Chapter 160 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 160. Warning, however, raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
As ‘Way Of Dominance’ teased chapter 160 kicks off (pun intended) with Bachira getting excited to start the match, his BPM showing this. Isagi who is watching from the sidelines asks how could Bachira improve so tremendously in the past 10 days? And it seems that this chapter will answer this question as a flashback to 10 days ago begins right as Bachira excitedly says, “now what kind of soccer should we dance.”
Now in the flashback, we see Bachira and Otoya on their first day in the Spain stratum. We see our two Blue Lock members watch in amazement as they meet and see their inspirations practice right in front of them. After getting their translators Otoya asks their “master,” Lavinho how he’ll teach them soccer. To this Lavinho laughs and says that although he is their “master” he can’t teach them soccer, when asked what this means Lavinho responds that he won’t give them any hints.
Lavinho then begins to dribble around with the ball and begins to tell his players about a word from his home country Brazil. “Ginga” which means tottering or swaying, the “master” goes on to explain that this dribble style is a combination of martial arts and music apparently many Brazillian stars utilize it. The master dribbler continues his explanation by telling his group that the world’s best all have an image that they follow and improve with. Lavinho’s image is a butterfly, though Lavinho can’t tell them about others’ “images” he can show them how to express their image and become the world’s greatest.
Later on, Bachira approaches Lavinho and mentions how he too has an image, his monster, Lavinho tells his player that his image is great and original. He then goes on to tell Bachira that if he wants to ever become better he must focus on evolving that monster to the next level.
We see this ideology in full power back in Germany vs Spain match as Bachira goes through player after player. Isagi notices that his friend’s dribbling has improved to a much higher level. As Isagi watches in amazement Bachira goes through almost the entire German team using a variety of moves until he reaches Kunigami. Bachira then presents his new dribbling style Ginga X Monster. The chapter ends as Bachira rushes towards the new Kunigami happily yelling out, “let’s do it, WILD HERO!”
