Blue Lock may have been on a break last week but after a week-long break, the series is back this week! And not only are we getting a new chapter of the manga soon, but we also got a brand new trailer for the upcoming anime adaptation!
But this article isn’t about the anime adaptation, it’s about the manga and its latest leaks! And the leaks look amazing! So without further ado let’s jump right into it!

Chapter 162 Recap
It’s been an entire week since we last had a chapter from the world of Blue Lock, so let’s do a quick recap of what went down in the most recent chapter before jumping into spoilers!
The latest chapter, ‘Kaiser Impact‘ kicks off with Kaiser and his midfield support, Ness starting their ‘public execution.’ Trusting Ness with the ball Kaiser runs forward, past the mainline of defenders, leaving Ness to deal with them. And deal with them he does!
With Ness’ ankle technique he manages to slip past almost the entire Spanish team, leaving the Blue Lock players on the bench very impressed. But once Ness hit a blockade of players he couldn’t swerve through he immediately passed it to the player the entire German team is set around, Kaiser.
After gaining the ball Kaiser quickly blasts it into the net tying the game up. In fact, he shot the ball so quickly everyone on the field and bench stood impressed. Noel Noa even tells the Blue Lock reserves that Kaiser has already surpassed him in his kicking speed alone. As the chapter ends we see Isgai trying to break this all down and learn from what he just witnessed. Behold, the KAISER IMPACT!
Chapter 163 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 163. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
The latest chapter seems to kick off with Isagi still marvelling at Kaiser’s impact, specifically his amazing kick. Which Noel Noa himself has said surpasses his own. As Isagi thinks more and more about his position on the field and the way Kaiser puts has an integral role as the team’s star, Lavinho joins the game.
Using the star exchange system Ego explained earlier Lavinho has joined the game and will use some of his limited three minutes of playtime. Noa sees this and sighs, calling Lavinho (or as he says Lavi), an idiot, Noa also uses the star exchange to bring himself into the game. After some bickering between the two-star players, (which is actually pretty funny) the game is set to resume. But before that Noa has a talk with Kunigami.
The German star tells Kunigami that he failed two of the main points of their training. The first was to play with Kaiser as the main attack and the second was to prove his strength as a dependent striker. To Noa, Kunigami has failed both of these major points. When Noa asks Kunigami if he understands the once hero responds simply, “nope. ” Since Kunigami can’t grasp these points he must pay the price, being benched.
With Kunigami benched Noa, much to everyone’s surprise calls Isagi in to play. When challenged and asked why by other Blue Lock players Noa tells them his reasoning. And that reasons fanservice. Simply put the world wants to see Isagi Yoichi, so they’ll receive just that.
And with that, the chapter, (and bench super analyzer Isagi), come to a close. Next chapter we’ll get to see Isagi and his idol Noel Noa playing together against best friend Bachira Meguru, and the Spanish superstar Lavinho. So get excited!!

Release Date
The release date for the 163 was originally scheduled to release last week Wednesday. However, as stated the manga was delayed that week for unknown reasons, (most likely just a one-week break for the author). The current release date for the upcoming chapter is now Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
