It’s that time of the month again when spoilers and leaks for the upcoming chapter start to surface. The Boruto manga has been delivering one amazing chapter after another, and the leaks for chapter 80 indicate that this trend will continue. Recap of the Story So Far:
Let’s take a step back and summarize the events of the previous chapters. After all, Boruto releases a chapter once a month, and not all of us possess a memory as sharp as Dr. Stone’s Senku.
In recent chapters, we witnessed Eida using her Omnipotence power to alter the memories of other shinobi. Boruto and Kawaki have swapped places, with Kawaki now perceived as Naruto’s son in everyone’s minds. Consequently, all the shinobi have turned against Boruto, believing he has killed Naruto, and that’s where the new chapter picks up.
Chapter 80 Spoilers: Naruto and Hinata Are Trapped In Another Dimension
Naruto and Hinata find themselves sealed in another dimension by Kawaki. Eida questions Kawaki if such drastic measures are truly necessary, to which Kawaki responds that he intends to keep Naruto sealed until he has eliminated Boruto.
According to spoilers for Boruto Chapter 80, as the story progresses, we learn that Boruto remains on the run after being accused of murdering Naruto. Shikamaru makes a public announcement about Boruto’s alleged crime, shocking and deeply upsetting many, including Sarada.
Devastated by the news, Sarada breaks down. Sasuke then meets with her, appearing to be under the influence of Ada’s ability. When Sarada informs him that Mitsuki is pursuing Boruto, Sasuke deems Mitsuki’s reaction to be natural. In the meantime, Sumire contacts Sarada, disclosing that they are the only two unaffected by Ada’s spell and thus capable of helping Boruto.

Sarada’s Mangekyo Sharingan
Despite being under Ada’s spell, Sasuke listens to Sarada’s desperate pleas to save Boruto. That is where we see Sarada unlocking her Mangekyo Sharingan and pleading to Sasuke “Papa, please help Boruto!”. We still don’t know whether Sarada has placed Sasuke under genjutsu or whether Sasuke is just helping Boruto for his daughter’s sake.
Boruto while running is confronted by Team 7 and gets trapped in Team 7 formation. Sarada and Sasuke swoops in to save Boruto. As the chapter progresses, it becomes clear that Sasuke doesn’t trust his memories, but he trusts his daughter and is willing to risk his life to help Boruto.
Momishiki tries to manipulate Boruto to hand over his body willingly as he thought Boruto losing everything will eventually break him. Boruto refuses and Momisihiki is impressed by the mental resolve of Boruto.
As the chapter ends, Boruto prepares for training to become stronger, Code plans revenge, and Kawaki still wants to kill Boruto. The story promises to enter a new chapter, with fans eagerly waiting for the release of this thrilling instalment.
