The cast for the highly anticipated live-action film adaptation of the hit anime series “Cells at Work” has been announced, and fans are buzzing with excitement.
Mei Nagano will take on the role of the main character, the red blood cell, while Takeru Sato will portray the white blood cell.

The film, based on the original work by Akane Shimizu, is set to open in Japanese theaters in December 2024. “Cells at Work!” is a Japanese manga series that has captivated audiences since its serialization in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Monthly Shōnen Sirius from January 2015 to January 2021.
The series has already been adapted into an anime television series by David Production studio, with two seasons broadcast from July 2018 to February 2021, totaling 21 episodes.
