We see a flashback of Flamme as she ventures into a destroyed village. One of the demon lord’s generals was responsible for this, and a little Frieren defeated this general.
As they try to get out of the village, some other forces of the demon lord try to attack them. Flamme unleashes her true power and teaches Frieren the same lesson for the rest of her life.
Aura is more cocky about being powerful than Frieren, according to her Scale of Obedience. Frieren remembers her master’s advice and fools Aura by unleashing her full power.
As Frieren is declared stronger than Aura, she orders Aura to kill herself and leaves.

The next episode will follow the post-events of the defeat of Aura. The army farewells each of Aura’s puppets as Frieren is pardoned for everything she has done so far.
The village later thanks Frieren’s group, and they spend a while here before departing to obtain a mage certificate needed to enter their destination.
They travel through the north, but due to an extreme storm, they must find a place to stay. They reach a cabin where another elf is residing, named Kraft, and he is a monk.
They spend half a year with him, and Frieren relives nostalgia with some discussion about Heiter. They depart on their respective ways to one day meet again.
