Given the immense success that the “Demon Slayer” franchise has garnered for the animation studio, Ufotable, it wouldn’t be surprising if plans for future seasons were prioritized. Nevertheless, fans eagerly await any official announcement or leaked information about the forthcoming season.

On June 5th, influential “Demon Slayer” Twitter fan accounts, including @DemonSlayerSc (280K followers) and @shueishaleaks (4K followers), suggested that production of the fourth season had already begun. Both of the accounts don’t have any credible history of anime leaks.

Numerous Twitter users have expressed concerns about @shueishaleaks, alleging that it has been impersonating the now-banned account @shunenleaks (with 100k followers), which was reportedly suspended for unauthorized leaks related to the production studio for One Punch Man’s third season.

This rumor has since been propagated, but what is its veracity? Does a credible source back it, or did a prominent Twitter account post without substantial evidence, prompting others, including various websites, to follow suit?

Both of the accounts don’t have any credible history of anime leaks.

Initial confirmation of the fourth season’s production was reported by the Twitter account @oecuf (formerly Sugoi Lite), which stated, “It’s not huge news, but we can confirm that the next season is already in production!”

The Twitter account is recognized within the anime community as a dependable source for anime leaks and announcements. They have previously leaked many key visuals and release dates of anime, including Komi Can’t Communicate season 2 release date.

However, it is essential to note that this information has not been officially confirmed, so it should be treated with a certain degree of skepticism.
