Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 248 spoilers have arrived as the long magazine break has been concluded.
After the death of Gojo Satoru, each sorcerer who arrives to fight Sukuna either dies or is left severely injured.
However, in the last two chapters, it was different. Higurama Hiromi appeared on the battlefield along with Yuuji, and before they could confiscate Sukuna’s CT, he initiated an attack of heavenly slashes.
But after numerous struggles of every sorcerer, Higurama could not withstand Sukuna’s power and battle knowledge which led to his ultimate death and passing on his sword to Yuji.

Picking up from the conclusion of chapter 247, Yuji has failed to stab Sukuna with the Executioner Sword and gets counter-punched by Sukuna, sending him flying away.
Kiara and Ui Ui arrive at the battlefield to retreat Higurama’s body. Ui Ui has an instant teleportation CT, which is why Gojo’s body was nowhere to be seen on the battlefield.
Sukuna analyzes that the sorcerers are sending the wounded to Shoko, but if she uses the Reversed Cursed Technique on others, it will half the output of healing.
Yuji recovers from Sukuna’s attack, and the narrator reveals he has learned RCT in a month. Sukuna thinks he’s going to have fun now as Yuji has improved, but something irritates him.
As Sukuna spaces out, Yuji is shocked to see the King of Cursed like this. Sukuna thinks he is disappointed since Higurama died, but remembers he should not be satisfied by killing others as it is the best way to pass the time until he dies.
Sukuna has never given a thought to finding his ideal, but many sorcerers have their ideals set to kill him. He also wonders why is he upset if he is watching people chasing their ideals, which happened 1000 years ago too.
He concludes and thinks it is all because of Yuji. no matter how many times he breaks his soul, he will return. Yuji’s CT is an indomitable human spirit, and considering how a weakling like him can stand up to Sukuna with his will and follow his ideals.
This makes Sukuna severely unpleasant, and he declares that he will surely slice up Yuji’s ideals. A ray of light appears, and Kogane announces a new rule that allows Megumi Fushigoro (his souls) to activate the merger between Tengen and Humanity.
Kusakabe speculates it might be Kenjaku’s backup plan, and it seems that Yuta’s ambush was successful as they are now jumping to the backup. He also adds that he thought Sukuna was much better than Kenjaku as he would not commit Curse Terrorism out of curiosity.
Sukuna announces he will begin by killing Yuji first and then the rest of the Culling Games players. Breaking all expectations, he might even play with a product of the merger with Tengen.
The wait is finally over, and Yuta arrives at the battlefield and takes on Sukuna. Sukuna tells Yuta that if he does not kill him, all of his loved ones will die. Rika emerges from behind and says “Who are you talking to?” as Sukuna finally graces ‘The Queen.’
