Yuuki Kanamaru’s comedy-drama-romance manga series, “Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman” (More than a married couple, but less than lovers) is getting an anime adaptation. The announcement was made via the official Twitter account of the series author. No information has been revealed about the Studio, and the cast involved.
Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuuki Kanamaru. It has been serialized since March 2018, in Monthly Young Ace magazine. Originally, it was supposed to be a short running series, however, the author have changed plans to make it a long running series after the demand of fans.
Synopsis
Jirou is 3rd year high school student. According to the school rules, students have to form a couple with the opposite sex, and live with them in one house for 1 year. A system is installed in the house, which evaluates how affectionate the couple is towards each other. The top 10 couples have than liberty to change their partners after 1 month.
Jirou is in love with his childhood friend, however, he is coupled with the most popular girl in the school. In order to change partners after 1 month, Jirou will have to do his best to be in Top 10 couples of the month.
