Vegapunk’s speech about the world’s truth continues, and after much anticipation, One Piece chapter 1116 spoilers have arrived.
In the last few chapters, Vegapunk continues to reveal the dark truth about their world, specifically focusing on the Void Century.
According to Vegapunk, there were countless islands in the past, but through Mother Flame, the islands were destroyed. With their destruction, the sea level has increased drastically.
At the end of the previous chapter, Vegapunk revealed the greatest war that ever took place in the Void Century. However, the war still rages on without anyone’s knowledge and continues to lead it.

The chapter opens up with the people’s reaction upon hearing the news about the ongoing war, and they wonder how the war can even continue if, after 800 years, all the participants are dead.
Meanwhile, Imu stares at a woman’s portrait who somewhat resembles Vivi, but we do not know who actually is. In Arabasta, the people watch the missing posters about Vivi, causing a certain reaction between them.
Vegapunk reveals that a part of Mother Flame was stolen from his laboratory and it was used to fuel a certain ancient weapon to cause destruction around the world.
While the broadcast continues, Stussy and Edison discuss the weapon. Learning about Vegapunk’s knowledge of stolen Mother Flame’s portion, York remains surprised and figures out the location of Den Den Mushi as she calls the Five Elders.
According to Vegapunk, there are multiple mysteries about the Void Century, and multiple of them have already been uncovered due to the persistence of one group: Gol D. Roger and his crew.
Back in Sabaody, at Sharky’s ripped-off bar, Rayleigh is drunk. At the end of the chapter, Rayleigh talks to Roger about Vegapunk ruining the young generation’s fun.
