The PV highlights Arata Shiunji, the eldest brother, as he navigates his evolving relationship with his family following this revelation. The visuals showcase Doga Kobo’s characteristic polish and fluid character animation, offering a glimpse of the emotional beats and comedic tone expected in the adaptation.

The premise centers around the seven siblings of the Shiunji family, who are widely admired for their talents and beauty. However, their seemingly perfect lives are disrupted when their father reveals they are not biologically related, changing the dynamics of their relationships.

The main voice cast includes Yuichiro Umehara as Arata, with Chika Anzai, Marika Kono, Rie Takahashi, Hana Hishikawa, and Kana Ichinose playing the five Shiunji sisters. Chiaki Kobayashi also joins as Shion Shiunji.

Reiji Miyajima, best known for Rent-A-Girlfriend, began serializing The Shiunji Family Children on February 25, 2022, in Hakusensha’s Young Animal magazine. The manga has published five collected volumes so far and has gained attention for its mix of romantic comedy and familial drama.

Additionally, the ending theme, “LIKE YOU o(>< = ><)o LOVE YOU?”, will be performed by the voice actresses of the sisters. The song’s composition by Akki, Ginnojo Hoshi, and Shota Horie reflects their collaborative effort to create a playful yet carefully crafted piece of music.

With Doga Kobo at the helm and Miyajima’s track record in the romantic comedy genre, The Shiunji Family Children is positioned as one of the key title in the Spring 2025 anime season. Fans can expect additional updates as the premiere date approaches.
