Episode 1 was titled “Spring and Beginnings.” The episode starts with Isaku, a little girl who lost her parents, entering her new home with her yakuza (mafia) grandfather.

Her new guardian is an underling of her grandfather named Keiya. At that moment, Isaku fell for Keiya.

As Keiya grows up, she gets an admission into her favorite high school, which Keiya and her grandfather appreciate.

Her main worry is her “anti-friend aura” because she has never had friends due to her parent’s yakuza status.

She commits a blunder on her first day and is about to hit the ground. She is saved by a boy, who, surprisingly, is her adult guardian, Keiya.

He used her links to enroll in this high school, as he is overprotective of Isaku.

As soon as the first class starts, Keiya nominates himself and Isaku as the class representatives. He does so to keep her in his vision.

Their first duty is to assign students to their respective sports for sports day.

Isaku decides to join volleyball and starts to train for it. Keiya interferes and decides to give her soft treatment. But Isaku is serious and wants the real thing. So, she ignores Keiya and practices herself.

On the sports day, her team wins the volleyball game. She tells Keiya, but he has become grumpy because Isaku ignored her.

But Isaku cheers her up. Isaku decides to confess her feelings for him, but she holds onto this feeling for a little while.
