Attack on Titan fan manga project “AoT no Requiem” have released a second chapter.
Hajime Isayama’s work Attack on Titan series ended on April 9 with the release of the final chapter 139. As expected, fans of Attack on Titan were not on the same page about how the manga series should have ended.
What is alternate fan ending?
There are many alternate popular endings to Attack on Titan series. One of the alternate ending is, Akatsuki no Requeim ending. It was one of the famous endings theorized by fans and now some fans are working together to not only produce an alternate manga ending but also an animation project.
“AoT no Requiem explores an alternate ending to the canon material. Based on the “Akatsuki no Requiem” music video, this doujinshi serves as a rewrite of the final three chapters of Attack on titan (137, 138, 139). It is one long chapter updated in parts, following the events of the previous chapters contained within the source material (1-136). First part of the Akatsuki no Requeim (alternate ending) was released on May 29, 2021, according to the official twitter handle of AotnoRequiem. The second chapter of the (fan) manga was released on Sept 10.
What 2nd chapter is about?
The 2nd chapter of Akatsuki no Requiem focuses more on the character development rather than fighting scenes. We get to see more of Historia and Eren’s relationship. Armin confronts Eren in the paths about what Eren is going to do is wrong and there must be another option to save paradise.

What is Akatsuki no Requiem?

According to AnK theory, Eren wins the final fight against the alliance. He eradicates all the threats to paradise and lives out rest of his life alongside Historia and their child. Due to no external threats, Paradise finally achieves peace.
