The next chapter of Bleach’s epic saga is on its way. At Anime Expo 2024, Studio Pierrot dropped some big news about Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3. They showed off a new trailer and a key visual for the upcoming part 3 and also announced that the part 3 will be released in October 2024.
For those who might not know, this Thousand-Year Blood War story is split into four parts. We’ve already seen Parts 1 and 2. They were awesome. Now, with Part 3 on the way, we’re heading into the second half of this epic tale.
The trailer begins with Ichigo and other characters saying their “Bankai.” It then goes on to show scenes of Ichigo using “Senbonzakura Keigen” and “Daiguren Hyourinmaru,” as well as epic fight scene between Ichigo and Yhwach. Trailer than shows Ishida Uryu and the Sternritter living as Quincy.
What’s really cool is that Tite Kubo, the guy who created Bleach, is working with Studio Pierrot on this. They’re adding stuff that didn’t make it into the manga. So even if you’ve read the manga, you might see some new things in the anime.

The part 2 of Thousand Years Blood War arc left us with some big questions. What’s going to happen with Yhwach’s attack on the Soul Society? Can Ichigo save the day? Part 3 should start answering these questions.
We don’t know exactly what’s going to happen in Part 3 yet. But if it’s anything like the first two parts, it’s going to be action-packed. Expect big battles, cool powers, and probably a few surprises too.
Bleach anime is based on the manga of the same name, written by Tite Kubo. The original Bleach anime by Studio Pierrot aired from October 2004 to March 2012 and had a total of 366 episodes.
Bleach Thousand Year Blood War arc is a direct sequel to the original Bleach anime. TYBW arc is also animated by Studio Pierrot. It was revealed the TYBW arc will have four parts and will adapt all the remaining manga story.
The first part of Bleach TYBW arc aired in Oct 2022, followed by second part in July 2023. Third part will air in October 2024. Fourth part release date is yet to be announced.
