Bleach anime series is coming back after 10 years, and the first episode of Bleach’s “Thousand Year Blood War Arc” will be released on October 10, 2022.
According to the new official information, Bleach Final Arc will be released in 4 cours. If you don’t know what is cour in anime, the simplest explanation is that cour is a word used to describe the span of anime episodes (usually 12 episodes) broadcasted on Japanese TV.
The opening theme music “Scar” by Tatsuya Kitani and the closing song “Saihate” by SennaRin are featured in a new teaser trailer which you can watch down below.
1 cour usually has 12 episodes. Since Bleach’s final arc will be airing in 4 cours, it is expected that Bleach 2022 will have between 45 to 50 episodes. It is important to remember that all 4 cours will not air consecutively (season after season). The production is being handled by Studio Pierrot, while Tomohisa Taguchi is serving as the director.
In the “Thousand Year Blood War” arc of Bleach, Quincy, who are people with a unique ability to find hollows, will take center stage. They were destroyed by Shinigami because they had upset the global balance. Although it was thought that all of Quincy had been murdered, the manga eventually reveals that they had been hiding and building their power. Quincy declared war on Soul Society in retaliation for Aizen’s defeat.
Tite Kubo, the writer of the manga series, has previously declared that there will be no censorship. So when the Bleach anime returns, be ready to see some gory scenes.
Where to watch Bleach 2022? Will it be available on Crunchyroll? Bleach final arc release date is getting closer day by day, but there is still no official confirmation on which platform the Bleach TYBW arc will be streamed. According to leaks, Disney has already won the rights for the Bleach anime series, and reportedly Bleach won’t be released weekly outside of Japan but Viz media have confirmed today that Bleach episodes will be available for worldwide fans on the same day as the Japanese broadcast (Simulcast).
The anime series Bleach is based on Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name. He began serialising his manga in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in August 2001 and finished in August 2016. 74 volumes of manga chapters have been published. Studio Pierrot animated the first 54 volumes. From October 2004 to March 2012, 366 episodes of the anime series broadcast on TV Tokyo.
