Chapter 169 Recap
Before we jump into spoilers for chapter 168 let’s do a quick recap of what went down in the most recent chapter of the series. Be sure to read the chapter yourself, wherever you get your manga from!
Titled, ‘Super Entertainment,’ chapter 169 kicks off (pun intended) with Isagi’s bidding value being revealed. And that value is 17 million yen, which sounds like a lot…until we get to the other players. Ego explains that teams from around the world are watching each match and bidding on players, making the neo egoist league a public market.
While he explains this we see the value of other players and who is the lead team bidding for them currently. Kunigami is worth 24 million yen and is being bid on by Japan’s Kawasaki Breakerz. Bachira is worth 32 million yen and is being bid on by Portugal’s FC Portimion. And of course, Kaiser’s value blows everyone else’s out of the park with 300 million yen, coming from his current team Bastard Munchen.
Ego goes on to explain further that every player in this current Blue Lock tournament is a product trying to impress buyers. He further goes on to say that this entire project is a reality show that they are all desperately fighting within. Since some players are still confused Ego uses this chance to explain that all the games they play are being streamed to the world. With a total of 80 million people watching right now!
As the chapter comes to a close we get to see a sneak peek of the English team, featuring Nagi, Reo, and Chigiri. And it seems they’re up to face Isagi and his German team next!
Chapter 170 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 170. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
Although most of the leaks have been released already for the upcoming Blue Lock chapter we still don’t know exactly what will happen as of yet. Until we do get that information, here’s what’s expected to go down in chapter 170 of Blue Lock!
- We are introduced to the “master” of Manshine City (team England), Chris Prince
- Chris seems to be a parody of Christiano Ronaldo since he is always grinning, doing commercials, and doing the signature pose
- Chris begins to check everyone on his team’s muscles and manages to figure out what kind of player they are through this
- After this, he also tells them all how to improve their talents but also not to rely too heavily on them
- In the present, we see team England watching as the other player’s values are revealed, they are all at zero since they have yet to play
- Rin Itoshi has the highest value of all the Blue Lock players coming in at 35 million yen
- Their master, Chris, apologizes for not telling them about the streaming and tv service earlier, claiming that Ego told him to keep quiet
- The England team starts to get pumped up now knowing that their game is next!

Release Date
Blue Lock chapter 170 was originally expected to release last week on April 13th, 2022. However, as we know, the series was on break last week so that the staff behind Blue Lock could get a well-deserved break.
The current release date for Blue Lock chapter is April 20th, 2022! There is currently no word on any type of delay so we can expect it to be out by then! If any updates do come out we’ll be sure to update this page!
