Blue Lock episode 2 release date

The series is listed with 24 episodes, meaning the series will air for 6 months. The first episode of the franchise has already been released. If you like Squid Games and Soccer, you will surely enjoy what is to come next.

The anime takes place in modern-day Japan; the national team has failed to secure a good world ranking and are constantly being knocked out of the tournament very early.

To improve the current situation, the national football federation hires Jinpachi to help them win the world cup.

At the start of the series episode, we see Isagi making a run towards the goal while being one-on-one with the keeper. He decides to pass the ball because being selfish is not good.

His teammate misses the chance to equalise, and the opposition team counters them and scores a goal making the final score 2-0 and crushing Isagi’s dream of going to nationals.

After reaching home, his mom tells him that he has received a letter from the football association and has been called for a trial training camp.

As he arrives at the venue, he finds out that there are more than 300+ strikers. That’s when Jinpachi makes his entry and explains his intentions.

His true motive is to train the strikers to be selfish, even if it costs your team to lose. He supports his idea with the example of Noel Noa, who beat Messi and Ronaldo to the ballon d’Or.

Isagi, convinced by his morals, joins the program and is put to his first test, where he has tagged people. Whoever is tagged last by the Football by the time the 2-minute timer runs out will be out of the Blue Lock program.

Meanwhile, whoever fails the program will never be able to play for Japan again in his life. The game begins with people trying their best not to be tagged.

However, towards the last few seconds of the round, Isagi gets the ball and decides to be selfish and shoots it towards Kira, who was one of his friends, and knocks him out of the program.
