The film will dive into the backstory of Seishirō Nagi before his time at the Blue Lock facility. The recently released trailer hints at new, unseen content, including how Nagi was influenced to pursue football and his aspirations for World Cup glory.

Furthermore, a spin-off manga focusing on the character Seishiro Nagi, titled “Blue Lock: Episode Nagi,” began serialization in Kodansha’s “Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine” on June 9, 2022.
Authored by Kaneshiro and illustrated by Kōta Sannomiya, this spin-off further explores the Blue Lock universe.
