Boruto chapter 81 spoilers are finally here, and after a long slumber of three months, Boruto manga is finally making a comeback. But this time, things are going to be different. The series is now officially called Boruto: “Two Blue Vortex” after the long-awaited time skip in the series.
With the time skip, the character designs for the leading duo of the manga, Sarada and Boruto, were revealed, and all of the fans were left in awe. However, in this article, we will not discuss the character designs.
The V Jump magazine is set to release on 20 August 2023. With that magazine issue release, will arrive the first chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. Thanks to the credible manga leaker on Twitter known as Abdul_Zol2, things have started to buzz due to the spoilers of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Before discussing the spoilers, here’s a recap of chapter 80. It was released three months ago and will give you a fresh revision of what happened previously.
Boruto Chapter 80 Recap
Boruto chapter 80, titled “What Dad Would Do?” was the point where the whole story turned upside down. The chapter begins with Eida lying to Shikamaru that Boruto has killed his father, the seventh Hokage, Naruto.
Later we are cut to Mitsuki and Sarada, where Sarada convinces Mitsuki to stop hunting down Boruto and ultimately kill him. All of the shinobi get a relay message through Shikamaru that the seventh Hokage has been killed at the hands of his son, Boruto.
The land is chaotic, and every search party in the village is hunting for Boruto. This gives Kawaki the perfect opportunity to kill Boruto as he will not be interfered with by anyone. Boruto is running away in the forest so no one can catch him until his classmates corner him in the forest.
Sarada and Sumire are the only people who know Boruto is not at fault, and somehow, Eida is responsible for this mess. Boruto tries his best not to engage with Team 10 in the forest. While Bouto is cornered, Sarada is seen talking to his father, Sasuke.
Sarada explains to Sasuke how Boruto is not the culprit behind the murder of the seventh Hokage. She tries to make his father believe that Boruto is not the culprit. While crying, Sarada finally awakens her Mangekyou Sharingan, which makes Sasuke believe her.
Sasuke rushes to the forest and takes away Boruto with him out of the village. Sasuke explains how he believes Sarada more than anyone else and requests Boruto to prove everyone wrong. After a few moments, Eida arrives where Boruto and Sasuke are and exchange words.
Code is finally on the hunt to kill Boruto for everything he has done to him, explicitly taking Jigen, Eida, and Ishiki away from him. The chapter ends with Boruto determined to prove everyone wrong with his return to the village.
Now without further ado, let’s take a look at Boruto chapter 81 spoilers!
Boruto Chapter 81 Spoilers
Boruto Chapter 81, i.e., Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 1, will be officially released on 20 August 2023.
“In the village of Konoha, which has undergone the “great cataclysm” in the past. In front of the Hokage room, Sarada with a dissatisfied face…” The quotation that is going to open the chapter after the time skip.
Sarada stands in the Hokage’s room, where we see her arguing with Shikamaru over Boruto’s innocence. We see Shikamaru wearing the Hokage cloak, confirming that he is the eighth Hokage after the alleged death of Naruto. Sarada tells Shikamaru that he is not her role model; it was the seventh Hokage.
Later, the manga cuts to Kawaki, where we finally see his time-skip design. He is standing in the dimension where Naruto and Hinata are imprisoned, where time supposedly stops since Naruto and Hinata have not aged.
After that, we are introduced to the new design of Sumire, who is discussing with Eida and Daemon the possibility of reversing “rewriting history,” to which Eida says no. Eida is curious how Sarada and Sumire retained their memories even after she rewrote history.
The long-awaited design reveal of Mitsuki was finally shown. We see Mitsuki and Kawaki standing on a roof together. Mitsuki still ‘hates’ Boruto and will instantly kill him if he shows up in the village. It also seems Kawaki has inherited some of the Otsutsuki’s powers, as now he can fly.
Chocho and Himawari are training together, and they also got quite an upgrade with the time skip. Himawari still believes that Boruto is somehow not a bad guy and has a feeling deep in her heart that Naruto is alive but hidden somewhere.
Finally, Code makes his entrance with his ten-tailed minion army attacking the village. Sarada tries to hold them off, but they keep regenerating. An interesting thing about Code is that his left eye is slashed like Boruto’s. Out of nowhere, Boruto makes his entrance after an absurd amount of time and steps on Code’s face.
The chapter ends with Sarada left confused and shocked to see Boruto after a long time. Kawaki also approaches Boruto and taunts him that he is finally out of his hole.
The series is set to continue without any breaks and will release chapter 82, i.e., Two Blue Vortex chapter 2, on 20 September 2023.
