After last week’s amazing, and devastating, fight between Yuta and Ryu fans are excited to see what’s next in the series.
We’ve seen Maki get her own arc with the Zenin clan, as well as Itadori and Megumi with their colonies, and now that Yuta’s Sendai colony arc is supposedly wrapped up it begs the question, who’s next? Unfortunately, it seems we won’t find the answer to that question until next week. That’s right, Jujutsu Kaisen is on break!
Hold on! Just because the manga is on break doesn’t mean that we don’t have any info regarding the upcoming chapter. We still have the new release date as well as a recap as to what went down in the latest chapter. We have all of this and more, so be sure to read on!
Chapter 180 Recap
Since there’s no new chapter this week there are no spoilers to jump into, hence no reason to do a recap, but let’s still go over what happened in chapter 180. For those unlike myself who may have forgotten.
With Uro and Kurouroshi being taken out of the fight in the last chapter, it’s time for an all-out brawl between Yuta and Ryu. And an all-out brawl is what we get! The two start off shooting long-range blasts at each other. Before Yuta rushes in to try and start some good old hand-to-hand combat. Before he can reach his opponent, however, he is about to be struck down by one of Ryu’s blasts!
At the last minute, before the strike can hit, Yuta uses one of the cursed techniques Rika copied earlier in the fight. Specifically Uro’s cursed technique. Using this he bends space and sends the blast intended for him right up into the sky. From there the two sorcerers continue fighting. At that moment Yuta’s 5-minute connection with Rika ends, leaving him weaker than before.
But that doesn’t stop him as he continues to get in blow after blow on his opponent! As they’re fighting Ryu yells out that this final fight is the dessert of the entire fight or as he calls it, this feast. Instead of responding a tired Yuta mutters to himself ” here’s the spot” as he pins Ryu down to the ground and jumps away.
Out of nowhere, a blast rains down on him Ryu finally taking him down. As he falls the sorcerer realizes that the blast he was just hit with was his own blast that Yuta redirected using Uro’s technique. As the chapter comes to a close and Ryu is defeated, he thanks Yuta and tells him that he is finally satisfied.
Chapter 181 Spoilers
As you can probably tell, chapter 181’s spoilers are currently not released yet, nor will the chapter be. This is of course because the manga is on break, hence meaning, there is nothing to be leaked. The manga is expected to be back on track next week meaning chapter 181’s spoilers and leaks await us, till next week.

Release Date
The upcoming chapter was originally scheduled to release as usual this Sunday. However, as stated the manga has been delayed this week so Gege Akutami could take a well-deserved break. The release date for the delayed chapter is now expected to be April 17th, 2022.
