The online anime community has been filled with Demon Slayer content lately. With its characters being trending, as well as each of the episodes, it is truly at its peak.
To add more to the excitement, Swordsmith Village Arc (also known as season 3) dub is also coming to your screens.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s official Twitter account posted on May 25 (Thursday) that the English dub of season 3 (Swordsmith Village Arc) will be released on May 28, 2023 (Sunday) at 1:30 pm Pacific Time via Crunchyroll.
The official announcement also teased Demon Slayer’s upcoming English dub by releasing the official trailer in English.
The English voice actors of the previous seasons of the series will also be having their comeback for the Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc.
The cast includes:
- Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado
- Abby Trott as Nezuko Kamado
- Aleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Bryce Papenbrook as Inosuke Hashibira
- Griffin Burns as Muichiro Tokito
- Kira Buckland as Mitsuri Kanroji.
Moreover, Christopher Corey Smith, who is behind Spandam in One Piece, will voice Hantengu, while Zeno Robinson, the voice behind Hawks in My Hero Academia, will be voicing Genya.
Brent Mukai, who is also behind the English dubs of the characters like Scratchmen Apoo in One Piece and Drake’s Dream in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, will be voicing Gyokko.
Mukai expressed on his Twitter account his excitement about being part of the series’ English version, for he himself is a fan of the series.
About Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc
The Japanese dub of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc was released in April and had been airing since. As of the writing of this article, the series is now in its seventh episode.
The Season 3 of the series centers on the story of the Kamado siblings, Tanjiro and Nezuko, journey where they happen to reach the Swordsmith Village. They met two other Hashiras in the village, Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji.
With demons yet again haunting the village, the Kamado siblings, together with the Hashiras and other characters, must put an end to it.
