Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Will Hit Cinemas on April 22, 2022

To all the Dragon Ball fans, our waiting is officially over. The series is returning with a feature film titled “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero”, which will be released on April 22, 2022.

In Jump Festa 2022, during the Dragon Ball super stage, it was announced that the feature film will be released in cinemas all across Japan on April 22, 2022. The production committee also released a brand new trailer for the movie:

Another good news for Gohan fans is that he will be taking a center stage in the film can be seen in the trailer.

As far as the international release is concerned, the worldwide release date has not been announced yet. Usually it takes around 4 to 8 months after the Japanese release date for an anime film to release in cinemas worldwide.

Dragon Ball Super is an action-adventure manga series written by Akira Toriyama. Toei studio produced the anime series in 2015, which ran from April 2015 to March 2018, having a total of 131 episodes. The manga series is currently ongoing, having more than 70 chapters.
