The creative battle royale Fortnite has taken the world by storm since its initial release back in 2017 with newfound popularity and collaborations galore. From music artists, superheroes, cars, and even anime Fortnite has done collaborations with pretty much anything and it seems their next collab involves the fan-favourite Dragon Ball series!

What’s Been Leaked?
So far there have been no official announcements about this collaboration, however, many reliable leakers have tweeted similar news of a collab coming soon and what it would entail. Furthermore, as of July 6th data miners have found the capsule corps logo within recently added files. As seen below.
It’s been about a year since the Dragon Ball X Fortnite rumour began and now it seems like it’s finally happening, whether fans like it or not. So far most reports have revealed that the Capsule Corp and some of their famous inventions will be added to the game alongside four Dragon Ball skins. As of right now, we do not know what characters these skins will depict but we’ll keep you up to date!
Possible Release Date?
Although nothing has been revealed yet, many believe that this collaboration will come to the game around the beginning of August. This would make sense as the addition of the skins and perhaps limited-time challenges would land on the Fortnite island around the same time that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero releases in North American theatres.

Seeing as how Fortnite has already gone through with the previously leaked Naruto collab it should come as no surprise that the video game company would want to reach further into the anime community. And who knows if this Dragon Ball X Fortnite event is successful we may soon see even more anime-based collaborations from the video game.
