The official Japanese Twitter account of Dragon Ball Super franchise has shared a new poster for the upcoming film, featuring Gohan in his mystic or ultimate form. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero film will make a debut in Japan on June 11 on regular and IMAX cinemas. Movie goers will also receive an A3 poster of Gohan, but the number of posters is limited.
As far as the international release date for the film is concerned, Crunchyroll has announced that it will release the film worldwide later in 2022 but the exact release date has not been confirmed yet.
Gohan will be one of the main protagonists of the film. The producers of the film have confirmed that the movie will focus on Gohan, and his relationship with his teacher, Piccolo. It will be interesting to see if the half-saiyan will be able to unlock his true potential in the film. In a recent interview, the creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, Akira Toriyama has confirmed that Gohan has the potential to become the most powerful warrior even surpassing Goku and Vegeta.
The film story is set after the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and before the events of the Moro arc in the manga series. Some other Dragon Ball characters beside the main protagonist that are confirmed to be in the film include Trunks, Pan, and Goten.
