During Jujutsu Kaisen stage of Jump Festa 2022, a new 2 minute and 20 second trailer have been released for the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen 0 films, which will be released on Dec 24 in Japan. Jujutsu Kaisen will also get a stage play which will be performed in July and August 2022. You can watch the trailer below:
The trailer of the film shows, fans a little more background of the protagonist of the film, Yuta Okkotsu. Keep in mind that the film won’t feature Yuji Itadori as the story is set before the events of anime series.
Jujutsu Kaisen movie 0 is scheduled to be released on Dec 24, 2021, in theaters all across Japan. For international screening, fans will have to wait a while as there is no information announced yet.
Jujutsu Kaisen Movie 0 will have a new protagonist “Yuta Okkotsu”. He will be voiced by a very talented voice actress “Megumi Ogata”. She is known for voicing a lot of popular characters like Yugi, Shinji and Hanako. All the other cast will remain same as in season 1 of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Plot
Jujutsu Kaisen movie 0 will tell a story about a young boy called Yuta Okkotsu, who is haunted by his childhood friend Rika. Rika’s spirit has been cursed and turns into a cursed entity that mercilessly kill anyone who she deems a threat to Yuta
Jujutsu Kaisen manga is written and illustrated by Gege Akutami. The manga started serialization in March 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump. An anime adaptation has been produced by Studio Mappa, which aired in October 2020.
