We see a flashback after Gojo was sealed, where Mahito divided into two souls to search for Itadori. One is with Itadori, and the other is with Nobara.
During the fight between Itadori and Mahito, Mahito keeps annoying Itadori by saying they are the same, as Itadori is fighting out of full rage this time.
