Known as the pioneer of the modern Isekai genre, Mushoku Tensei is one of the best anime of the 2020s, and now the Season 2 release date has been shared.
Confirmed that Season 2 was in the works in March 2022, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more information. The series has had massive success, and it was only a question of when and not if it will get a season 2.
It was confirmed on March 26, 2023, during the AnimeJapan Event, that Season 2 would air in July 2023, but no exact date was given, nor a trailer was released.
The release date for the second season of Mushoku Tensei has been officially confirmed. It is set to air on July 2nd, 2023, and will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

A pre-screening event is scheduled for June 25th, during which the first two episodes of the second season will be made available for viewing. However, this privilege is exclusively extended to Tokyo residents. The global audience will have to patiently await the premiere of the first episode on Crunchyroll, set to be released on July 2nd.

Fans of Mushoku Tensei have expressed concern over the anime’s animation quality ever since Studio Bind began working on additional projects. It’s worth noting that Studio Bind was initially established exclusively to animate Mushoku Tensei.

The opening song is titled “Spiral” by LONGMAN, and Yuiko Ohara will return to perform the ending song titled “Musubime.”
The studio behind Season 1, Studio Bind, will return to animate Season 2 as well. A relatively new studio that was formed in 2018, Bind has proven that it can compete with the top studios, and we can expect some quality animation.
