My Hero Academia Anime: Season 7 Confirmed

The immensely popular anime series, My Hero Academia, is wrapping up its sixth season, with the final episode set to air this week. But even before the current season comes to a close, fans can already start celebrating, as a brand new season is confirmed to be in production!

The confirmation of My Hero Academia’s seventh season comes from Weekly Shonen Jump issue 17, which has yet to be officially released. However, a select few have managed to get their hands on the magazine early. One such individual posted the news on Twitter, revealing that our beloved Boku no Hero Academia will indeed have at least one more season. In the same issue, the series’ creator expressed gratitude towards the fans for their unwavering support over the years. Further confirming the news, the issue’s main cover proudly announces that My Hero Academia season 7 is in the works.

Although Studio Bones or any other official My Hero Academia account has not yet officially confirmed the news, it’s likely that the season 7 announcement will be made after the premiere of the final episode of season 6. More details about the upcoming season are expected to be shared during the AnimeJapan event, which will take place in Tokyo on two consecutive days (March 25 and 26).

My Hero Academia Season 7 Expected Release Date

As of now, there are no specific release dates or windows for the new season. However, it’s safe to assume that it won’t premiere before a year has passed, so we can expect it to arrive sometime around spring or summer of 2024.

While the production committee has not yet announced the official release date for My Hero Academia season 7, the previous seasons’ release patterns suggest that fans will likely see the next instalment in 2024. The sixth season will bring the Dark Hero arc to a close, and based on the manga’s content, the seventh season is expected to animate the Star and Stripe Arc, the UA Traitor Arc, and perhaps even venture into the Final War Arc.

So, mark your calendars and prepare for the thrilling conclusion of season 6, which will be released on Saturday (March 25). With season 7 confirmed and more information likely to be unveiled soon, My Hero Academia fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months and years!
