My Hero Academia fans have a lot to be excited about in the coming months.

Toho Animation YouTube channel just dropped the second trailer for the upcoming movie, titled “My Hero Academia: You are Next,” and it’s already generating a lot of buzz among fans.
The film promises to deliver an original story that takes place during the same time period as the current anime season, which focuses on the collapse of a safe society.
While it won’t be a direct adaptation of the manga, fans can still expect plenty of the action, drama, and character development that they’ve come to love from the series.
One of the most exciting aspects of the new film is the introduction of a villainous version of All Might, known as “Dark Might.” Kenta Miyake who voices All Might will also voice Dark Might.
A recently released key visual for the movie shows Dark Might facing off against five heroes at once, hinting at the scale of the challenge that Izuku and his friends will have to face.
The story of “My Hero Academia: You are Next” centers around a giant fortress that suddenly appears in a society devastated by war. The fortress swallows up entire towns and people, creating a desperate situation that requires the intervention of heroes.
Izuku and his classmates find themselves confronted by a man who looks suspiciously like the “symbol of peace,” adding an extra layer of mystery to the plot.
Fans will be happy to know that the film’s story is being written by Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the My Hero Academia manga. With Horikoshi’s involvement, the movie is sure to stay true to the spirit of the original work.
The film is being directed by Tensai Okamua, with animation by Studio Bones and distribution by Toho. These are all big names in the anime industry, and they’ve proven themselves more than capable of bringing the world of My Hero Academia to life in stunning detail.
