On Sept 17, 2021, a movie was announced through the official website. Unfortunately, no released date has been confirmed so far. Author of the series also thanked the fans for supporting the series so far.

When will My next life as a Villainess season 3 will be released? Unfortunately, there is still no announcement for the season 3 of the series. If you are wondering if season 3 will ever happen or not? The good news is there is a high possibility that the series will get at least 2 more seasons.

The series is based on the light novel series written by Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrated by Nami Hidaka. As the time of writing, the light novel have 11 volumes published. Only 6 volumes are adapted into anime series so far. So, there is enough source material for season 3.

If season 3 of the series ever gets announced, fans can expect Katarina and her friends to return pretty quickly.
The first season aired in July 2019, and the second season aired in July 2021. Similarly, if there are no delays in the production of the anime, season 3 of the series could return as early as July 2023.
However, announcement for season 3 will depend on the movie schedule as well. In a worst possible scenario, if the movie doesn’t do well on the box-office, there is a chance that season 3 might never happen. The next season happens or not, will depend on the success of the film.
