New Episode of Attack on Titan Reportedly Getting Review Bombed

The final season of Attack on Titan opened with a stunning episode yesterday, also crashing Crunchyroll servers. The episode titled “Judgement” scored almost highest on all the review platforms, however, some users on Imdb tried to sabotage the perfect ratings by giving it a score of 1.

Review Bombing is a term use to give lowest rating to any series, and in this case you can see more than 1,000 people rated the newest Attack on Titan episode “1”.

So, who is the culprit behind this review bombing? Well, a twitter user @ONEPIECIE1 who proclaims to be a One Piece fan posted some screenshots (which shows user rating “1” on Attack on Titan episode) with the caption:

Despite the negligence of some individuals, the numbers are okay and the result is very satisfactory. This is the reward for every anime that thinks that it competes with One Piece. What we used does not exceed 10% of our strength, and see for yourself the extent of our impact, the next is greater.

Here is how some Attack on Titan fans reacted to this review bombing tweet:

One Piece fans did the same thing to all of Boruto’s top episodes lmao

You know, every time I want to try to watch OP and I see the fans do some dumb shit

That’s why I never care about anime’s rating when I want to watch one.

Overall, Attack on Titan scored pretty high on review platforms. On MyAnimeList, the first episode is rated 8.91/10, on Imdb, the episode is rated 9/10. The 2nd episode of the season is scheduled to be released on Janaury 17, 2022.

Attack on Titan is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by three enormous walls that protect them from the gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans; the story follows Eren Yeager, who vows to exterminate the Titans after a Titan brings about the destruction of his hometown and the death of his mother.

  1. is this guy thinks he ie moises or something.that when he spoke or order the sky will crack?oceans will split?and there will be an earthqu@ke?!idk why fellow fans will follow a simpleton bastard like this?pipz dont u have some brains?

  2. To the guy that’s simping One Piece: it’s trash! It’s a 1000 episodes of nothing! They should’ve wrapped that crap up five years ago! If you wanted to just up and watch it, you can’t there’s too damn many!

  3. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. There are sime anime out there that are pretty awful that don’t get 1 star ratings. This guy is just using clout to be a jerk and get more followers. Even if you aren’t a ATOT fan, a one star rating it’s not for the animation alone.

  4. honestly the one piece fans that are rabid will only get worse. kinda not surprised seeing how they love to bring up other fandoms and cant live without bringing down what other peoples preferences are.

i hope we can all enjoy anime together in the future but its expected with the power scales, the calling other animes mid and whatnot that one piece fans get a trill out of it.

god forbid if you dont have the anime or luffy in top 3 of any rankings. sad really.

before some of yall get their panties in a twist, im calling out the fanboys (the crazy ones) and they exist in most fandoms unfortunately. its just one piece ones have become the most vocal in the past year or two.

  5. Why would someone hate on an series that they didn’t even watch yet? If you’re a fan or watch One Piece, Don’t be like that guy, Its so aggravating that someone doesn’t watch a show that they did not even watch.

That kind of a person who does for clout is literally the worst-way possible.
