One Piece Chapter 1072 Spoilers: A Former Member of Rock Pirates Revealed?!

One Piece returned after almost a two-week break and came back with a bang. As Luffy and his squad were about to escape Egghead Island, CP0 agents crossed paths with Zoro, who was staying on The Thousand Sunny alongside Brook to keep guard of the ship. Chapter 1071 Quick Summary

Chapter 1071 was titled “A Hero Appears“, and many new things were revealed in this chapter. It starts with Zoro and Kaku again fighting as CP0 is after the Straw Hats crew, and they face Zoro. We also see Kuma in this chapter as he ambushes Mariejois. The main headline of this chapter is that Garp is on his way to fight Blackbeard to rescue Koby. At the end of the chapter, we see the Kid Pirates approaching Elbaf Island.

Vegapunk’s Explanation of Kuma’s Powers

Flashback: Vegapunk explains that Kuma’s power turns intangible things into tangible things, like he did with Luffy’s “pain” in Thriller Bark.

We are immediately hit with an old shot of how Kuma tried to capture Straw Hats on Thriller Bark after they defeated Gecko Moria. But what Vegapunk tells us is how his power makes things tidy, which sounds pretty basic, but, as this is Oda, we can expect some good stuff in the future.

Zoro vs Kaku, just like Luffy vs Lucci

Kaku uses his awakened form against Zoro, although Zoro defeats him.

And just like how Luffy played with Lucci in his awakened leopard form, Zoro seems to be doing the same, just a little less amusingly, though. Kaku also awakens his devil fruit, but this does not help him, and Zoro defeats him.

Some information on Rocks Pirates

It is revealed that Stussy is a clone of a former member of the Rocks Pirates. Former member of the Rocks pirates is Bakkin, Weevil’s Mother!!

We are hit with two new information punches by Oda. First, we learn that Stussy, the member of CP0, is a clone of the former member of The Rocks Pirates. And this former member is Bakkin, Weevil’s mother. All of this makes things too interesting as now we know that Weevil, who claims to be Whitebeard’s son, is not just a side character there for joking around.
