The 10th-anniversary celebration of the Psycho-Pass franchise brought a piece of good news for fans as the series will be getting a new anime film. A teaser poster has been released featuring the film cast. Production I.G will be returning to animate the Psycho-Pass anime film. According to the official Twitter account, more details about the project will be announced soon.
The upcoming film is titled “Psycho-Pass Providence,” and the teaser visual has been released, which features Akane Tsunemori, Nobumoto Ginoza, Mika Shimotsuki, Sho Hinakawa, Yayoi Rokugozuka, Teppei Sugo, Shion Tonomori, Shinya Kogami, Frederica Hanashiro, and Joji Saiga. The film will be directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani, who also worked on the previous Psycho-Pass anime series.

The 10th-anniversary key visual has been released. The upper part of the visual depicts Kogami and Aka, the main characters of the first season of the TV anime, along with Ginoza, Rokugozuka, Shusei, Tomomi Seiriku, and Tonomori. In contrast, the lower part shows Shin, the main character of the third season. With Douaraku and Kei Michael Ignatov at the center, Teppei Sugo, Shimotsuki, Hinakawa, Shogo Makishima, the key person of the first season, and Kirito Kamokai, the key person of the second season, are gathered.

The first season of Psycho-Pass aired in 2012 and lasted 22 episodes. The 11-episode Psycho-Pass season 2 television series debuted in October 2014, followed by the Psycho-Pass film in January 2015. The Psycho-Pass season 3 premiered on October 24, 2019, having a total of 8 episodes (each having a run time of 1-hour)

The production committee has yet to announce the Psycho-Pass movie release date officially. According to Psycho-Pass Twitter, they have planned various projects for fans. In the 10th-anniversary promotional video, the next info on the Psycho-Pass film will be released in October 2022.
