The upcoming TV anime series titled “Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon” is set to air in July 2023, with animation production being handled by Studio Gokumi x AXsiZ. The production team has already released a teaser visual, a teaser promotional video, and announced the main cast for the show.
The teaser visual features Hakkon, the protagonist, who is a vending machine, standing by the lake while a confused girl named Lammis tries to touch him. The teaser PV showcases Hakkon’s interactions with various characters through the food and drinks he dispenses, including his meeting with Lammis.

The story revolves around a Japanese vending machine otaku who dies after being crushed by a falling vending machine. He finds himself reincarnated in a fantasy world dungeon as a sentient vending machine with the ability to see and hear but is immobile. He can only communicate through stock Japanese vending machine phrases, such as “Welcome” or “Too bad.”
Hakkon discovers that he can dispense any item he bought in his previous life and convert the sales to points to sustain his existence. He can also add additional features to his vending machine body using excess coins, choose which items to stock, and set their prices. Furthermore, he possesses some magical abilities, including a defensive force field.
Lost in the wilderness, Hakkon encounters Lammis, a young and strong hunter girl with the Blessing of Might skill, which makes her incredibly powerful, but she is still a novice in controlling her strength. After he gives her some food items, they become friends, and Lammis carries Hakkon on her back, which allows him to move around. Together, they embark on a journey to explore the dungeon and encounter various characters along the way.
The role of Hakkon will be played by Jun Fukuyama, while Kaede Hondo will play the role of Lammis. Fans of the light novel series can expect an exciting and entertaining anime adaptation of “I’ve Been Reborn as a Vending Machine Wanders the Labyrinth” when it airs in July 2023.
