Episode 1 Recap
Episode 1 was titled “The Case of Metropolitan’s Serial Drownings.” The episode starts with Isshiki visiting the particular detective, Ron, with the reference of Kiku, another detective. As soon as Isshiki comes across Ron, his expectations are destroyed.
He begs Ron to return as needed in the detective world, but he doesn’t comply. But as soon as Isshiki gets the call from his boss, Amamiya, Ron’s instinct awakens, and he cannot help but get involved in this case.
So, they run towards the location of the latest murder. Ron becomes comfortable with the body as soon as they arrive and starts talking to it. This is his way of investigation style, which amazes Isshiki.
After knowing about this case, Ron tells Isshiki he knows where the culprit is. So, the next stop they make is the clothing shop, where Ron makes Isshiki look like a rich man. After that, they go to a barber’s shop to do a makeover for Isshiki.
Ron stays behind and feasts on his coffee jelly in a bizarre way. When the barber starts Isshiki’s makeover, Ron enters and captures him red-handed as he is about to drown Isshiki. It turns out this barber has been drowning rich people who robbed him in the past.
As soon as he is cornered, something awakens in Ron, and he hypnotizes this barber to jump from the roof. He complies and jumps, after which Isshiki hurriedly saves him. Ron’s disease of hypnotizing the murderers is now solved, as Isshiki is right beside him.
