The additional cast for the TV anime adaptation of SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on Yuto Suzuki’s manga, has been revealed, along with the ending theme details and the release of the second main promotional video (PV). This was revealed during the Jump Festa 2025.
The ending theme, titled “Futsuu” (“Ordinary”), is performed by Conton Candy. A snippet of the song is featured in the second main trailer.
Sakamoto Days follows Taro Sakamoto, a former legendary hitman who leaves his violent past behind to live a peaceful life as a family man. Despite his retirement, his past catches up with him, forcing Sakamoto to use his extraordinary skills to protect his loved ones.
The anime adaptation was officially announced in May 2024, with TMS Entertainment as the studio. Since then, it’s been building up hype, and we’re finally getting a clearer picture of what to expect when it premieres on January 11, 2025. The anime will run for two cours, with the second cour starting in July 2025.

- A veteran in the industry with roles like Jiraiya (Naruto), Abuto (Gintama). Otsuka will also narrate the series.
