Satoshi Wagahara comedy-fantasy light novel series, The Devil Is A Part Timer anime season 2 is scheduled for July 2022. However, a new studio will be producing the 2nd season of the series.
The first season of the series aired in April 2013, produced by Studio White Fox. After 7 years, the second season will be produced by a new studio 3Hz. In addition to the release date announcement, a new key visual and trailer has been released.

The anime series is based on a light novel of the same name, written by Satoshi Wagahara. The story is about Demon lord who wants to conquer the world, however, he gets defeated by the hero Emilia. Demon lord flees to modern day Japan via a portal. To survive, and go back to his previous world, he gets a part time job in a fast food restaurant. However, the hero Emilia comes to this world to finish him once and for all.
