This Naruto Fan Named His Son Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto is one of the first anime series that most of the anime fans watched. Being the first anime, Naruto has a special place in anime fan’s heart. Jamesey Bolivar Maribojo, a 29 year old Filipino is one of these fans, that were inspired by Naruto’s hard work.

Maribojo’s first child was born in June 2020, and he decided to name him Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. “At first, nobody believed that was his full name because I kept calling him Naruto. Many were asking me if it was his real name.” Maribojo told Esquire Mag.

Why did he decide to name his son Naruto? Maribojo says: “Up to now, I’m an avid fan of the anime ever since the beginning. If you know Naruto: Shippuden, its story revolves around a boy who grew up with no family. As a single parent, I look after my son 24/7. But before his mother and I separated, we agreed to name him Naruto.”

While talking about why he gave such a long name “Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze” to his son: ““But I was not contented with just naming him ‘Naruto.’ I included the surname of Naruto’s mother, Kushina Uzumaki, and the surname of his father, Minato Namikaze. My son ended up with the name Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze P. Maribojo.”

His family was against him naming the child based on an anime. “They didn’t like it. They got angry. They said he will have difficulty writing his name and will be bullied. But they couldn’t do anything.” said Maribojo.

The story doesn’t end here as Mariobojo plans to name his second child based on Naruto’s rival, Sasuke Uchiha. However, Given the history of the Uchiha clan, I would suggest not naming his second child Sasuke.

Naruto anime is based on a Japanese manga series of the same name, written and drawn by Masashi Kishimoto. The manga series was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump series, which ran from 1999 to 2014. Studio Pierrot picked up the manga for an anime adaptation. Naruto anime has a total of 220, and Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes.
