In a recent development, Hajime Isayama, the creator behind the globally renowned series “Attack on Titan,” has unveiled a fresh illustration of the principal characters – Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.
The new artwork, shared on the official Attack on Titan Wiki Twitter account on June 1, has sparked much joy and excitement among the series’ followers.
The latest illustration features Eren, Mikasa, and Armin engrossed in a mobile phone, a symbol of the modern world. It’s a significant departure from the life they’re accustomed to on Paradis Island, which is protected from the outer world by enormous walls.
This cheerful scene contrasts sharply with the series’ typical grim atmosphere, serving as a poignant ‘what if?’ scenario. It invites viewers to consider a potential reality where the trio could have shared more carefree, joyful moments had the journey to fight the Titans taken a different path.

About Attack on Titan
“Attack on Titan” is a story about humans who have to live inside big walls to protect themselves from the Titans. The next part of the final season will show how the characters try to stop Eren’s founding Titan from wiping out all humans.
The story is quite sad, and that’s probably why the creator decided to draw a new picture showing the main characters, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, in a happy moment.
