Recap of Episode 8

Attack on Titan episode 8 starts with Hanjie killing two soldiers in order to save Levi, who has lost an eye, and 3 of his right hand fingers. Hanjie suggests living out rest of their lives in the forest, however, Levi wakes up and says that he wants to take revenge on Zeke.

Hanji and Levi meet up with Pieck finger and Theo Magath. She proposes of teaming up in order to stop Eren from doing complete genocide. In the next scene, we see Armin and Gabi trying to save Falco from Connie, who wants Falco to be eaten by his mother, who is in the Titan form. Armin stops Connie by trying to sacrifice himself in place of Falco.

Annie is reintroduced to Survey Corps members in a bizarre scene where she accidentally gets scene while stuffing her face with pie. Connie laughs on her, completely forgetting that she was the enemy who killed thousands of Paradis people.

In the final scene of the episode, we see Mikasa, Jean, and Connie teaming up with the Marley soldiers, in order to stop Eren from what he is doing.

Episode 9 Plot

Attack on Titan final season part 2 episode 9 is titled “The Night of the End”. The synopsis of the episode has been released via the official website:

Before the war, they were our enemy. We have hated, despised and killed each other. Beyond the bonfire, now we are sitting together for different “justice”.

Episode 9 Release Time

The 9th episode of Attack on Titan final season part 2 is scheduled to be released on March 6 at 7:05 AM (Pacific Time) in Japan, however, the official English subbed version will be released with almost 6 hours of delay. On Crunchyroll, the episode will be released at 12:45 PM (Pacific Time).
