Attack on Titan: Japanese Fans Rank Their Favorite Titan

NHK TV, who is the broadcast partner of Attack on Titan anime series, recently conducted a survey, asking Japanese fans to pick their favorite Titan. Keep in mind that the poll was not about the strength, but which Titan is most liked by fans. More than 3,000 people participated in the poll, and the NHK Twitter account has recently revealed the poll results.

Here are the rankings according to the poll results:

  1. Attack Titan
  2. Female Titan
  3. Colossal Titan (Tied)
  4. War Hammer Titan (Tied)
  5. Armored Titan
  6. Founding Titan
  7. Jaw Titan
  8. Beast Titan
  9. Cart Titan

It is clear from the ranking that Japanese fans prefer good looking Titans as you can see the top 2 places are occupied by Attack Titan and Female Titan, while not so good looking Titans, like Beast, and Cart Titan came to the last place.

As expected, Levi Ackerman is still the most popular character in Attack on Titan series. Surprisingly, the Survey Corps commander, Erwin Smith didn’t make it into the Top 10 list, considering that in previous polls, he always ranks higher.
