Chapter 327 Recap
Before we jump into spoilers for chapter 327 let’s do a quick recap of what went down in the most recent chapter of the series, titled, ‘Anti-Magic.’ Be sure to read the chapter yourself, you can find it for free, and officially down below!
Last week’s chapter was pretty short, only coming out to 9 pages, but it was amazing. So before I go through what happened in chapter 327 I would highly recommend everyone read it for themselves, especially since the art was amazing. Chapter 327, titled, “Anti-Magic starts us off with Lucifero attacking Asta while holding Yami and Nacht hostage. As we saw in the chapter before, Asta has changed since we last saw him, perhaps a new union form? Whatever it is it’s powerful since Asta is able to take a punch to the face from Lucifero without damage!
Asta himself doesn’t really know what’s going on either, only saying that he feels as if he and Liebe are overlapped and truly merged. And as Lucifero soon realizes, Asta now has anti-magic energy leaking straight out of him, putting the king of all devils at a clear disadvantage.
The exhilarating chapter comes to a close as Asta frees Yami and Nacht before swiftly turning around and landing a kick right in Lucifero’s face. Sending the devil flying! With five seconds left in his devil union, Asta seeks to defeat Lucifero, will he be able to or will his union timer hit zero before he’s won, we’ll all find out together…down below!
Chapter 328 Spoilers
Now that we are all caught up, let’s dive right into chapter 328. Warning, however, some raws for the upcoming chapter are already out so there are confirmed spoilers below, you have been warned.
The chapter seems to start off with a flashback of a conversation Liebe had with his foster mother Licita. Here we get to see the true story of how Asta was born and exactly how he ended up at the orphanage. As Licita explains herself, due to her strange ability that sucks out the life force and mana she had to abandon her newborn son, leaving him at the door of an orphanage for his own safety. Could this be the reason why Asta has no magical power?
As the flashback comes to an end we see Licita once more saying that she can never see or touch her son again, but she will always love him. And with that, we cut back to Asta slowly overpowering Lucifero. Due to his anti-magic flowing all around him Lucifero can barely touch Asta, and this brings back some memories for the king of all demons…
As he angrily tries to punch again Lucifero remembers Licita and says this. “You’re her, the good for nothing woman who interfered with me!” And to this Asta responds by cutting off one of the demon’s horns before slashing him from the chest and down to the leg. And with this blow, Asta finally speaks telling the demon that he’s the one who is good for nothing.
As the chapter closes out with its few final panels we see Asta slash the demon again. This time going horizontally, cleanly separating the legs from the stomach. And with that final slash, Asta and Liebe’s devil union ends. The two of them separate bodies right as Lucifero’s upper body completely separates. As the chapter ends we see Asta and Liebe standing together over one half of Lucifero stating that they will live and be happy!
And with that the chapter comes to a close, leaving us with more questions than answers. Questions we hope to find the answer to next week!

Release Date
Black Clover 328 was expected to release last week, Sunday, March 27th. However, as we already know, the chapter was delayed to this week. Thus, the new release date for chapter 328 is Sunday, April 3rd, 2022. As of the writing of this article, there have been no additional delays announced for the upcoming chapter.
