Now all the Shonen fans reading this may be wondering, that sounds amazing but what’s the catch? And I would love to say that there is no catch to this confession however if I said that I’d be lying. The catch to this long-awaited confession is that – in typical Shonen fashion, Yami didn’t hear a thing.

What Actually Happened

Now of course the scene where Charlotte confesses shouldn’t be taken completely out of context. We’ve already briefly gone over what happens in this scene and the entire chapter over in this spoiler article. But seeing as how the chapter is now officially out and in full we should briefly go over what happens!

Of course, spoiler warning for chapter 330 of Black Clover if you haven’t read the chapter yet.

With all the Lucifero nonsense sorted out midway through the chapter, our remaining, (conscious) heroes turn to find both Nacht and Yami gravely injured. They try waking the two up but nothing seems to be working.

This is when a flustered Charlotte rushes to Yami’s side and yells at him to wake up. When he still doesn’t move Charlotte ends up confessing that she’s in love with him, once again yelling that he needs to wake up. Although the captain still doesn’t wake up, this sudden confession does perk up the ears of both Mimosa and Vanessa as they watch on shocked.

Luckily both Yami and Nacht wake up a bit later in good condition thanks to Mimosa’s healing. But for Charlotte it seems the damage has been done. Because later on, when Yami asks her if she said anything whilst he was unconscious, the captain simply knocks out.

Where To Read

You can check out this week’s chapter and the entire Black Clover series officially and for free on both Viz Media and Manga Plus. And of course, you could also read the series through the recently launched Manga Plus app. As always we urge readers to try to read the series officially, as this supports both the author and allows them to create more stories.
