[Break] Blue Lock Chapter 163 Spoilers & Release Date

After last week’s chapter, that showed us Kaiser in all of his glory! Blue Lock will sadly be on break this week. It is currently unannounced why exactly the manga is on break, but one can guess it’s probably so that creator, Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrator, Nomura Yuusuke can have some well-earned downtime.

Chapter 162 Recap

Although there are no spoilers to jump into, hence no reason to do a recap let’s still go over what happened in chapter 162. For those unlike myself who may have forgotten.

‘Kaiser Impact‘ kicks off with Kaiser and his midfield support, Ness starting their ‘public execution.’ Trusting Ness with the ball Kaiser runs forward, past the mainline of defenders, leaving Ness to deal with them. And deal with them he does!

With Ness’ ankle technique he manages to slip past almost the entire Spanish team, leaving the Blue Lock players on the bench very impressed. But once Ness hit a blockade of players he couldn’t swerve through he immediately passed it to the player the entire German team is set around, Kaiser.

After gaining the ball Kaiser quickly blasts it into the net tying the game up. In fact, he shot the ball so quickly everyone on the field and bench stood impressed. Noel Noa even tells the Blue Lock reserves that Kaiser has already surpassed him in his kicking speed alone. As the chapter ends we see Isgai trying to break this all down and learn from what he just witnessed. Behold, the KAISER IMPACT!

Chapter 163 Spoilers

As you can probably tell Blue Lock chapter 163 spoilers are currently not released yet, nor will the chapter be. This is of course because the manga is on break, hence meaning, there is nothing to be leaked. The manga is expected to be back on track next week meaning chapter 163’s spoilers and leaks await us, till next week.

Release Date

The upcoming chapter was originally scheduled to release as usual this Wednesday. However, as stated the manga has been delayed this week for unknown reasons, though most likely to give the author a one-week break. The release date for the delayed chapter is now ex[ected to be Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
