The fans of Chainsaw Man, the dark and bloody manga written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, were in for a treat at the Jump Festa 2024 event.
It was officially announced that the Reze Arc, one of the most popular and emotional arcs of the manga, will be adapted into a movie.
A key visual and a teaser trailer were also revealed, showing the main character, Reze.

Reze will be voiced by Reina Ueda. Reina Ueda is known for her voice acting roles of Kanao from Demon Slayer and Hideyoshi from Tokyo Ghoul.
The movie adaptation of the Reze Arc was previously leaked by some reliable sources, but it was not confirmed until the Jump Festa 2024 event.
The movie will be produced by Studio Mappa, the same studio that animated the first season. The cast and staff of the movie have not been announced yet, but it is expected that the same voice actors and directors will reprise their roles.
The Reze Arc movie does not have a release date yet, but it is likely that it will come out sometime in 2024.

The Reze Arc is the fifth arc of the manga, and it follows Denji, a young man who can transform into the Chainsaw Man, a powerful devil hunter, as he falls in love with Reze, a seemingly innocent girl who works at a cafe.
However, Reze turns out to be a spy from the Soviet Union and a hybrid of the Bomb Devil, who is sent to Japan to steal Denji’s heart. The arc explores their tragic relationship and the secrets behind the Gun Devil, the main antagonist of the series.
The Chainsaw Man manga part 1 has already ended in December 2020 with 97 chapters and 11 volumes, and it has been praised for its unique art style, intense action, and twisted humor. The manga is available on the Shonen Jump Plus app.
Chainsaw Man manga part 2 started serialization in Shonen Jump Plus in July 2022. You can watch the first season of the anime on Crunchyroll, which describe the series as follows:
