Classroom of the Elite Season 2 Announced After 4 Years

Four years after the release of the first season of the Classroom of the Elite, the official website of anime series has announced a sequel anime. More details about the sequel will be announced on March 6 at the Kodakawa YouTube channel.

Shunsaku Tomose, who is a light novel illustrator, drew a visual to commemorate the announcement.

The release date and the studio have not been announced yet for the 2nd season, however, more information will be available on Kodakawa YouTube channel on March 6 at 8:00 PM JST.

The Classroom of the Elite anime series is based on a light novel series written and by Shogo Kinugasa, and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. Media Factory has since published seventeen volumes since 2015.

Keep in mind that the first season of the anime had low Blu-ray sales because Japanese fans were not satisfied with anime adaptation which didn’t follow the light novels.
