At Jump Festa 2025, a teaser trailer for Dandadan Season 2 was officially released. The second season is set to premiere in July 2025, following the conclusion of the first season on December 20, 2024. Season 2 was announced with a promotional video after the final episode of season 1 finished airing.
The teaser showcases several key elements, including new characters such as Naki Kitou and the recurring presence of the ominous Jashiki.
One particularly notable moment from the teaser features a mysterious man delivering the chilling line, “Humans should all be killed.”
Science SARU will continue as the production studio for Season 2, with Fūga Yamashiro returning as director.
Additionally, Abel Gongora, who was responsible for the opening animation in Season 1, will join as a co-director. The two-director setup suggests a possible expansion in production scope.

Dandadan is based on Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, serialized on Shonen Jump+ since April 2021. The anime adaptation, produced by Science SARU, premiered on October 4, 2024.
The story revolves around Ayase Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and Takakura Ken, also known as Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Together, they confront supernatural events involving spirits, aliens, and other phenomena.
