Nezuko Kamado from the Demon Slayer series, has recently reignited discussions on Twitter surrounding her adult form. In this evolved state, Nezuko’s strength increases significantly, while her physical appearance matures to that of a fully grown woman.
Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village Arc is currently going strong. After a sudden attack on Swordsmith Village by demons, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Genya and mist hashira are the only ones standing against the demons from destroying the village.
In one of the fights, Tanjiro and Nezuko get separated. Tanjiro asks Nezuko to protect Genya who seems to be in a terrible state. Nezuko starts fighting the demons and in order to become stronger, she increases her size as well.
Just like Nezuko did in the Entertainment District arc, Nezuko turns into a full-grown woman in order to utilize her full power.
Nezuko came under criticism before too while the Entertainment District arc was airing. The central issue raised by Twitter users is the portrayal of Nezuko, who is only 14 years old, in her adult form. Many fans argue that the depiction of such a young character in a more mature light is inappropriate and raises concerns about the responsible representation of teenage characters in anime and manga.
looks and acts like a little girl then suddenly has big boobs when she gets demon powers?? very weird and gross

Another fan pointed out that Daki (one of the antagonists from Entertainment District Arc) was 13 years old too.
The fact daki is 13 too ahh I just don’t know. People rarely criticize demon slayer’s female cast because of great characters like Shinobu but I think we need to acknowledge even female authors make these mistakes

Of course, many of the Demon Slayer fans came to Nezuko’s defence that there was nothing wrong with the adult form of Nezuko.
