Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 8 Release Time, Preview & Where To Watch

With just three more episodes left, Demon Slayer season 3 is getting incredibly exciting. The stakes are higher with each episode, and if I’m betting correctly, episode 8 is set to be a wild ride.

It feels like we’re closing in on the end of season 3. The last episode of Demon Slayer was more about setting the stage with some heavy dialogue, and it’s all gearing up for episode 8 to be chock-full of action and a good dose of gore.

Ep 7 Recap: Tanjiro’s Ghost, Unexpected ‘Villains,’ and A Handsome Reveal

Our hero Tanjiro faced a bit of a setback when he couldn’t quite chop off the head of that small demon. Things took a turn when the other four demons decided to join forces and create a more formidable demon who surprisingly branded Tanjiro and his team as the “Villains”.

Why the villain tag? Apparently, because they were trying to take down the little demon. This got Tanjiro pretty riled up and he called the combined demon out for its hypocrisy, considering it has likely devoured countless innocent humans.

Unable to think of a good comeback, the merged demon attacked them instead to shut them up.

Meanwhile, the Mist Hashira is in a tough spot, trapped in a water fish tank by the Upper-Rank Five demon and struggling to escape. He gives it his all in a last-ditch attempt to free himself but sadly, no luck.

That’s when Tanjiro’s Ghost makes an appearance to give him a pep talk. Actually, Mist Hashira is just imagining Tanjiro – the reality is he’s recalling a memory of his father who also had red eyes like Tanjiro. Either way, it worked and Mist Hashira was able to free himself.

Feeling a bit cocky, the Upper-Rank Five demon took a breather from battling the Mist Hashira, leaving him alive instead of finishing him off. He stumbles upon a Swordsmith, Haganezuka, busy at work on a sword. He tries to distract him but doesn’t quite manage it.

But here’s the kicker – the demon’s incessant attacks eventually break Haganezuka’s face mask, revealing what turns out to be one of the most handsome faces in the Demon Slayer series. Quite a plot twist, right?
