It’s a new week and it seems it’s time for another popular manga to come to a close. With Fire Force’s official ending last week, it looks like it’s Dr. Stone’s turn to say goodbye to its readers.
Yes, you read that right, Dr. Stone is officially coming to an end after a popular 5-year run. After exactly half a decade’s worth of chapters, Senku and friends’ stories will come to a close with its final chapter next week. Read on to find out exactly what’s happening with Dr. Stone.
With the series scheduled to end next week, this next chapter may be the last time we see our favourite characters in the manga one last time. Though the anime adaptation is set to release its third season next year, it won’t be the same knowing that the manga has concluded.
So when exactly is the final chapter? Currently, the chapter is set to release as usual, on Sunday, March 6th, 2022. However, what many fans don’t know is that this date is also the 5th anniversary of the series. Making it the perfect day to conclude the story.
As for how we know the series is ending, well it was announced in yesterday’s Shonen Jump magazine, issue #13. You can see the exact image and comment down below!
Aside from the confirmed 26-page long chapter, the final chapter is also rumoured to have 7 coloured pages in next week’s Weekly Shonen Jump issue (issue 14). With the series wrapping up its main story and conflict in yesterday’s chapter this puts it at the perfect time to end.
But tell us, are you satisfied with the series ending like this? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
Thousands of years have passed since all of humanity was instantly petrified by a mysterious phenomenon. All these years later, Senku, a genius boy awakens. In a stone world where civilization has perished, Senku decides to rebuild using his knowledge of science. However, the armed empire led by the strongest high school student stands in his way, as they try to prevent the further development of science.
