Atsushi Ōkubo’s action-fantasy manga series, Fire Force will end serialization in a few chapters. The author revealed in his Dark Souls livestream that he has only a few chapters left to draw. This doesn’t mean that there are only 2 chapters left to be released, because there are surely some chapters that are already drawn but haven’t been published.
There are 32 manga volumes of Fire Force that are already released, and according to Okubo, the story will be concluded in 2 more volumes. In Oct 2021, it was confirmed that manga will enter its final arc.
Okuba started the manga serialization in Sept 2015 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. David Production picked up the series for an anime adaptation, a 24 episode first season released in July 2019. The second season aired in July 2020, having 24 episodes in total. The anime series is currently available on Crucnhyroll and Funimation.
